My story

The childhood

1999 - 2008

I was born in 1999 in a small town in the north of Italy. I've grown up in this beautiful place, between the mountains and near a lake.

I've always been a smart kid. Good at school and passionate about learning and doing new stuff.

The teens

2009 - 2018

After the primary school, I begun a rebellion phase in which I was trying to hide my qualities. During the primary school I was target of derision and jokes due to being good at school.

From that moment, I literally stopped doing anything related to school at home. I was good enough to pass every test without studying and making homework. On the other hand, of course, my behavioral grade was really affected.

Then, it came the time of choosing the high school. I waited till the last day to choose. I was undecided between two choices: a technical institute or a scientific lyceum.

At the end, I chose the last one. Luckly. In those years I knew my best friend. During all this period I didn't work hard. Like before, I was able to pass each test and exam without too much effort.

I focused mainly on my biggest passion: music. I spent a lot of time studying drums and playing in several bands.

I was willing to do more, but I needed challenges to push me. For this reason, I came up with the university choice: mechanical engineering. I was in love with physic, but I was scared to end up in an environment without enough stimuli. I hoped that with mechanical engineering I could find a more challenging environment, such as motorsport.

So, I enrolled in Politecnico di Milano.

The bachelor

2018 - 2022

With the beginning of the university I moved out from my parents house. I went from my small town the the big Milan.

After the first month of university, I joined the formula student team of Politecnico di Milano in the vehicle dynamics department. I started working really hard both for the team and for my courses.

From this moment on, one of my favourite quotes became a Nietzsche aphorism.

Life itself confided this secret to me: "Behold," it said, "I am that which must always overcome itself"

Driven by this mindset, I became firstly head of vehicle dynamics department and then technical director of the project.

I remained in the team till the last year of my bachelor studies. In this year I met my girlfriend, one of the main reason for which I am really grateful for my life journey until today.

In the last months of my bachelor, me and my girlfriend decided to look for an adventure abroad. We searched different universities in Europe that could be a nice prosecution of our studies.

I was searching for something that could lead me towards computer science. For this reason, when I found the master in artificial intelligence and engineering systems I decided to pursuit it.

Today

2022 - present

Right now, I'm living with my girlfriend in the Netherlands, where I'm following the master at Technical University of Eindhoven. Since moving abroad meant an increase in terms of expenses, I started working as research software engineer in a German company.
